Orchid Elegance
We have a new student joining the class yesterday. And we revisited the painting of orchid, starting from its constituents, the petals. Then it just kind of took off ...
What an apt description, the petals do look like they are taking off towards the great big yonder, marvellous little wings. Great work mom!The first drawing is evocative of the non-permanence of this world, so enjoy the moment.

Mmm! I really like the second and fourth ones. I like how light and free the grass (leaves?) look.
