Bamboo
Yesterday's Arts class featured one of the Four Gentlemen in chinese brush painting: bamboo. Despite numerous times of painting the same subject of the bamboo, there is always something new and fresh that emanates from each effort.
I like all of them! Mom's progress is really showing. What a naturally beautiful bamboo forest! Mom must have been in a calm, happy and meditative state of mind when she drew them; it shows.
