Looking left, looking right ...

Two birds that happen to have their sights trained to the left and to the right, respectively, in the presence of flowers.

The bird in the second painting seems to be a new kind drawn by mom. Very sharp eyes, as though surveying and watch-guarding its territory. The bird in the first painting is cute and plump.

Heehee I like the first one!! The bird is, like Koh says, cute and plump--I like animals that are plump (which is why Bacon looks the way she does). I don't like the second bird so much--it looks very severe and harsh. If looks could kill, those flowers would be dead.
