Painting of a special nature

Not the bamboo, not the flowers, but the paper that they are painted on. This special rice paper minimizes color smearing when colored. However, it cannot be stored for a long time as then the quality deteriorates such that any color pattern will appear as blocks. But when it's colored when still new, the pattern will stay.

Not sure if it's the paper, but the quality and style of the paintings are superb! Very sharp and dare I say lifelike! Great effort Mom!
