Since several weeks back, I have taken on a student of sort; actually two to be exact, a lady friend and her daughter. But the daughter has gone back to school after the summer break. That leaves two of us, exploring the fascinating world of painting, truly a journey of boundless discovery.

Sparrows are small but on the plump side with short but powerful beaks. There is a popular Chinese saying that though sparrows are small, they have all the five major organs that matter. That is, don't be deceived by the lack of size even though size does matter in certain aspects.
