Rockscape in fine details
Sometimes a purchase by chance can turn out to be a prized possession. A couple of weeks we were at the Oceanic Chinese grocery store run by an immigrant family from Ipoh, Malaysia. The store has an annex that displays and sells Chinese furniture and Arts pieces. We ventured in and came upon some collections of Chinese brushes for sale. I selected two, one dimensioned zero and the other two.
I showed them to Mrs. Fan, my Arts teacher, during last week's Arts class. She took a look at the label, and promptly declared them to be one of the fine brands of chinese brushes around. Especially the one dimensioned zero, it has such a fine tip that using it for capturing fine details to produce the paintings below on 4" x 5.5" cards seemed so effortless.

This would make for a dinosaur head if some teeth were added (or maybe a toothless one), according to hubby.
