A Happy Mother's Day to all
Today's art class is on drawing Orchid and I took the opportunity to combine it with an excerpt from a famous Tang Dynasty Chinese poem that expounds on the unconditional love of a mother that knows no bound and is beyond any act of repaying, no matter how hard we try, to send a Happy Mother's Day greeting to all.

Happy Mother's Day! I can really feel the beauty and spirit that Mom put into her drawings here. I feel so grateful and humbled that I was (and still am) brought up and nurtured by Mom, so great and so loving. Indeed, nothing that I do can repay the kindness and care that Mom has shown to me all these years. I love you with all my heart Mom!
Ah, yes.... The message in the first painting was what I was trying (and failed) to write (albeit in simplified form).......... Aww.
