Nature's VTOL
Today's arts lession revisited the painting of hummingbirds, the little birdies that are Nature's VTOL (Vertical Take-Off and Landing such as helicopters). Actually, these birdies go one up: they can go astern as well. Witness their buzzing around here.

Nice choice of colors, and the hummingbirds are definitely small in size but are exuberant.
