In remembrance of a great sister ...

I lost a sister to cancer six years ago today. Among my five younger sisters, she was closest to me in age. So I would like to dedicate this Lotus painting to her memory where she would always remain pristine and happily domiciled in the Pureland, as the Lotus symbolizes.

Flowers, thy name is elegance

Different flowers, same elegance. The first two paintings are by Ling Chong, and mine follow in tow, going from flowers only, to flowers with bird/duck, and with butterfly, and with butterflies.

Insects and Flowers

We were away on a New York trip, at the expense of my blog. But I'm glad to be back, though these paintings of flowers variously with butterflies, bees, and dragonfly, were actually done on the day before the trip.

The Buddy painters met today, as opposed to the usual Friday, and completed the following. The top one is by Mrs. Kim and I brought up the rear in tow.
